CALIFORNIA DROUGHT

Hello PRESS Friends!

WHAT IF WASHING YOUR HAIR EVERYDAY IS BAD FOR YOU. AND SKIPPING A SHAMPOO CAN SAVE YOU 10% ON YOUR NEXT HAIRCUT?

It’s undeniable that I love California and it is heart breaking to know that for the past few years it has faced its most severe drought. For this reason, Newport Beach Residents and business owners (such as ourselves) are obligated to stop using water in excessive ways. Many include not washing vehicles with a hose that doesn’t have a fitted shut-off nozzle or letting the water sprinklers run too long. These are all obvious things we can do to help with water conservations. But what about washing your hair every two or even three days?   An average four-minute shower costs up to 40 gallons of water.

Shampoo is a detergent that strips away the sebum which is produced by your skin to protect the hair, leaving it dry and brittle. So try going one extra day without washing it and see how healthy your hair feels. Not to mention preserving those hair follicles too. Preserving those follicles means maintaining a luscious head of hair.

BEGINNING JUNE 1ST, for the entire summer of 2015, we would like join forces with you to help save as much water as possible. We will reward you with a 10% discount on your service if you opt to get your haircut without shampooing. All you have to do is tell us you “I love water”.

PS, next time, rinse your razor in a bowl of water instead of running water.

Yours Truly,
